I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and one of Brave Life Therapy's pediatric therapists. I am also the office manager, so you might find me answering your phone calls, text messages, or responding to your emails!

I work with kids and teens, ages 3+, as well as adults. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing dysregulated emotions, anxiety or depression, LGBTQIA+ issues, trauma implications, parental divorce, and neurodivergence. I have a passion for working with neurodiverse brains, which includes treating people who have been diagnosed with (or are considering a diagnosis for) autism, ADHD, sensory issues, and more!

Therapy with me often looks like play time, which makes it very different from traditional talk therapy. Play therapy is interactive, safe, and affirming, allowing people (including adults) to be themselves, find courage, and build confidence. When treatment is specifically for adults, I tend to incorporate trauma-focused CBT, dialectical behavior therapy, internal family systems, attachment theory, the Enneagram, and more.

Many people I work with, children and adults alike, find themselves dysregulated, overwhelmed, masking, socially struggling, lacking support, or experiencing household dysfunction. Together, we can work to notice patterns, identify triggers, improve behaviors, and enhance coping abilities. The goal is that the new skills and knowledge you gain from working with me will provide long-lasting change.

What sets my approach apart is how I integrate psychoeducation and therapy into one. I firmly believe in education and knowledge so that my clients better understand what's happening in the therapy office, why our approach is helpful, and how to implement the skills both inside and outside of sessions. I always aim to provide a safe space that feels grounding, accepting, and affirming, with a bit of silliness and humor as needed!
