Jess Mills, LCSW, Practice Owner

I’m a licensed therapist who specializes in helping individuals navigate relationship insecurities, attachment wounds, and the lingering impact of past experiences. My work is rooted in EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and attachment-focused therapy, which means I help clients not only understand their patterns, but also process the deeper emotional experiences that drive them.

Many of the people I work with find themselves stuck in cycles of overthinking, anxiety in relationships, or feeling “not good enough” with partners. You might notice yourself seeking reassurance, pulling away when things feel too close, or struggling to trust even when you want connection. Together, we slow things down and make sense of where these patterns come from—often rooted in earlier relationships—and begin to shift them in a meaningful, lasting way.

What sets my approach apart is the balance of depth and practicality. Using EMDR, I help clients process the experiences that shaped their attachment style, while also building tools to feel more secure, grounded, and confident in relationships today. I aim to create a space that feels warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental, where you don’t have to perform or have it all figured out.

Clients often tell me they feel deeply seen in our work together—and more able to show up as themselves in their relationships. My goal is to help you move toward connection with greater clarity, self-trust, and emotional security.

In my free time I enjoy being part of book club, spending time with my family, and playing board games/video games!
