Our trauma therapist have additional training in trauma and use skills and strategies that are designed to help people overcome the effects of traumatic events without re-traumatizing.
Many of our clinicians have gone through Certified trauma training though Arizona institute, as well as, Advanced specializes such as EMDR, Brainspotting or Accelerated resolution therapy.

Everyone experiencing trauma differently but you may experience nightmares or flashbacks that take you back to the traumatic event. Furthermore, you may struggle with mood swings, as well as disorientation and confusion, which can make it challenging to perform daily tasks. You may also struggle with emotional difficulties such as difficulties in relationships, overwhelming fears, panic attacks, certain triggers (sensitivity).

Therapy for trauma is depend on the individual and the clinicians recommendations. Since there are many things that create traumatic events, during your intake you and your therapist will develop a care treatment plan to determine amount of sessions.
