Therapist cat, in therapy office

Indiana clients ONLY. Cat can not see individuals outside the state of Indiana.

Cat earned her B.S. in interpersonal communication at Ball State University before she obtained her master's degree from Butler University in both mental health and school counseling. She provides therapy to ages 14+ and enjoys working with both individuals and couples.

Cat has a passion for working with autistic and otherwise neurodivergent clients who are navigating how to create safety for themselves in a world that feels hostile to their natural tendencies. She also loves helping her clients, regardless of neurotype, develop effective communication and conflict management skills in order to find peace in their lives and relationships.

In addition to this, Cat also enjoys helping clients explore their identities, values, and the lifestyle which would bring them the most happiness and comfort. If you are suffering from any form of anxiety, she'd love to talk to you.

Cat borrows from many theories in her counseling style including DBT, IFS, Existential, Somatic, Narrative, and Psychodynamic. She believes in the biopsychosocial model and helps clients identify the factors both within themselves and the world around them which might be impacting their experiences. Her approach is trauma informed and she has lived experience as a queer and neurodivergent person.

She believes her clients are capable of learning how to navigate the world to meet their needs as well as set their own goals for growth and self empowerment. Her approach is to provide a safe space for exploration of those needs and identification of existing barriers. In this partnership she will assist you in discovering and utilizing the coping skills and communication tools necessary to achieve your goals and contentment. In alignment with what is said above, she often encourages you to do work outside of therapy to help achieve goals and peace within your life.

In her free time, Cat loves writing books as well as reading them. She's a big fan of television and movies, and often uses them to help her clients understand their own lives. She plays video games to destress, and also loves vintage fashion. She has two cats and a pomeranian, and really enjoys seeing pictures of her clients' pets as well.
